People born on February 29 (leap day) face an interesting age calculation problem. In most legal and practical contexts: age is calculated on February 28 in non-leap years (the day before March 1). Some systems use March 1 in non-leap years. Most jurisdictions treat Feb 29 birthdays as "occurring" on Feb 28 for legal purposes (driving licence eligibility, voting age, etc.). Fun fact: a leap day baby who is technically 20 leap-day birthdays old is actually 80 calendar years old. The Julian calendar had a leap year every 4 years without exception.
